People in Covenant
Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said, "Whoever kills a persron in covenant with Muslims shall not smell Paradise although its smell can be sensed at a forty-year-walk distance."
In Islam, a covenant is a covenant.
Once you sign a treaty, you have to respect it fully.
A promise is really a promise.
However, if the other party breaks the treaty, the treaty exists no more. A Muslim is never the first to break a treaty. All Christians and Jews who are subjects in the Islamic state are in covenant, and their lives are as sacred as the lives of Muslims.
This is Islam: greatness in every aspect, in worship, in manners, and in law.
