Terrorism

Greetings.

I've been on this board for a while, but this is the first post I've made. I've been having a "discussion" with a person on another forum who is convinced that all Muslims are terrorists.

Of course any rational person would know that is not true.

I doubt it will make him/her change their tune, but I'd appreciate it if you guys could provide me with some articles, quotes, stats etc... dealing with Muslims against terrorism.

In particular, he brings up the "fact" that know Islamic leaders or Muslims stood up against the terrorism in Spain and what happened with the elections there.

I would greatly appreciate any help. I thought this would be a good place to go since the majority of people who come here are Muslim.

happy to hear from you, this person who claims all muslims are terrorists, I wish he can back up his claim with evidence.I sure ain't a terrorist, nor my family, my brother, my cousins , my neighbors, Non of us have killed any body or bombed anywhere. What is a terrorists in his book, one who has a beard and hold firm on to his Islam.This yes we do we hold firm onto the true religion of GOD and don't take no rubbish from anyone. In the land where i live there are many non muslims who we respect alot , we work with them , dine with them, they respect us. That person who claims whatever he claims does ne expect muslims around the world to be oppressed and persecuted and just sit down and turn the other cheek.Ask him if he would sit and accept to be oppressed and persecuted and not resist. What is being called terrorism today is muslims holding firm on to their religion, and protecting their land and people from oppression and occupation. If that is wrong then i am sorry we are in the wrong world.Islam when it govern the world there was no oppression.It was justice spain and many other parts of the world were under muslim rule for centuries and even non muslims who lived there prospered. Ask him if he understands aArabic and what arbic news day in day out be cause if he does not he would not here muslims standing up against what happened in the US and spain.Muslim clerics many speak mainly Arabic (those in authority) and yes they do speak out.We who want to hear them hear them every day.But for one who is anti islam and seeks to label muslims as terrorists even if GOD was to show him proof he would refuse it.
Also we have Evidence to a ctually blame 911 or any other terrorist attacks on the Muslims.No concrete proof has been shown until today. What about all the proof coming out that the US govt has deep involvement in the 911 thing. Do we disregard all that and jsut popint the finger at muslims. This person who claims this I am sure is a christian , The bible tells you "to prove all things".Tell him to bring the proof of the Facts he says that muslims done whatever.I can bring fact to show you the contrary. read my article about the misconceptions in islam below there are verses of the quran which refutes his claims.Even if there are quotes and articles about the scholars speaking out thhey would be in Arabic.

Ask him to wipe the egg off his face because his hatred for Islam brings him to lower himself to such a level that you have pity for such peoploe who speak without evidence just to slander Islam. In the second link , there are loads of links in there to prove your frind wrong
