Gitmo every enemy combattant’s nightmare

Since its opening five years ago Guantanamo bay has been a nightmare for many. Since the US declared it war of terror and vowed to capture and bring to justice (American Justice) every culprit that has attacked American interest on american soil or abroad, it has been making use of some overt and covert prisons where it will jail everyone it feels like.
Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, home of Camp Xray, now named Camp Delta has been home for over 600 (enemy combattants), where all kinds of toture and crimes have been perpetrated on the people the ex US secretary of defense, Donald rumsfeld claimed, was incarcerating the most dangerous terrorists this world has to deal with. In reality most of them are innocent of any crime as we have seen when some have been released with no charges whatsoever.
Before actually capturing them the US made sure to already give them a status that would mean they had no righs whatsoever.Enemy combattant, a new term in the history of war war was drawn up, the US claims that because these so called “dangerous terrorists” were captured with no uniforms so they are not entitled to be treated under the laws of the Geneva Convention. This of course was a dirty plan conceived by the US because many of those captured and dumped in American prisons around the world not just Gitmo, were actually picked up from their homes, or the streets or anywhere else minding their own business and being totally innocent of any crimes against the US and its allies. However when any american soldier was to be caught the US administration would squeal “ Geneva Convention”. Ever heard of do onto others what you want others do onto you?
One fine example is Moazzam Beg who was picked up in his house, in front of his family. So how do the US expect him to be in uniform and carrying a weapon if he was not even a fighter there. Same applies to most others dumped in Guantanomo, for example the the Tipton 4, Sami al Hajj ( Al Jazeera cameraman) and others too.People who went there not to fight but got caught up in all the bombing and so on, others were just there at the wrong place at the wrong time and others were just doing their jobs and minding their own business as our brother Moazzam went there for humanitarian purposes.Yet they were treated like the worst criminals of this world and deprived of any rights, shackeled, tormented and flown half way around the world in such despicable conditions one would not even treat his worst enemy in. Yet the champions of justice around the world who claim to be the beacons of peace and democracy perpetrated such gruesome punishment on these human beings.
Five years on and there is pressure to close the Nightmare hell hole in which these innocent (enemy combattants) were and many still are incarcerated. But why shut down only Guantanamo while the US has more prisons in undisclosed locations many that the world do not know about in which the US soldiers are administering punishment to human beings whose only crimes were being muslims. Diego Garcia alittle Island in the middle of the Indian Ocean stolen by the British from Mauritius, its people chased out never to be able to return, given over to the American to administer torture and punishment on Muslims during the modern day crusades. There are many other hidden American prisons around the world in which the US is incarcerating many people we do not hear about. These have to be shut down too, enough is enough.
A few years back when the US first attacked Afghanistan and news came through of US army casualties a western news reporter interviewed some of the injured US servicemen in a German military hospital. Some were seriously injured with hands or feet blown off and so on. It was then that the reality of this war started to dawn on the people’s mind that the supposedly most powerful army in the world were not as powerful and great as they claim to be. One of the Injured soldiers explained how they got ambushed by the Muslims fighters, not terrorists, but proper mujahidin. He explained how their convoys were ambushed when the helicopters dropped them and from how the onset they were greeted with gunfire and calls of “Allahu akbar” “ Allah is the greatest”. He went on to explain how the soldiers of the mighty US army were unable to defend themselves and how many just dropped their guns and started screaming, he claimed he too had no other choice but to scream. The battle was so fierce that even reinforcements were not able to enter to come and help the injured of the mighty army and many lay there dead all day. One a battlefield with proper weapons and all they are no match for the proper Islamic warriors. All they are good at is flying aircrafts and bombing innocents. So after they caught some warriors and many others were sold to them for pittance by the Afghanis and Pakistanis who betratyed them and gave innocent people, Now they were the strong guys, faced with men with their hands tied behind their backs. Many who were handed over to them were innocent like the brothers mentioned above and were not even captured on the battle field. Now they would administer torture and punishment on those who are weaker and less able defend themselves with their hands tied behind their backs and their faces hooded. But when met face to face with the real warriors the whole area they stand in become public toilets. It is easy to administer punishment and torture on somebody else weaker and less capable especially someone who was not trained and had no intention to fight you. This is where one distinguishes the men from the boys. Islam forbids any type of injustice whatsoever done to a captive, not even to shackle him, he must be left guarded but free. God created the man free who are you to imprison him and even worst administer punishment and torture to him? Unfortunately even the despots in Muslim lands follow their masters and have hidden prisons where they torture their own at the behest of their puppet masters who pull the strings.
So close Gitmo and all the other prisons that are holding these ( so to say most dangerous men one of whom his weapon is only his TV camera and othwers who are innocent).
