Salamu alaikum dear brother,
may Allah reward your for your great efforts in spreading islam,
i will quote some of the questions & try to give my opinion, & you have the free will to have it or not :
as for :
I don't believe that God would enslave anyone. He gave humans free will after all. How is God above having a son? Can you speak for God? Or do you just believe everything you read at face value? God sent Jesus to be an example for which humanity to emulate.
enslave here does not contradict with the concept of free will of human beings, when Allah says that we are slaves for god ,it means that we have a complete reliance on him alone, & that he`s able to control our lives & everything we face on this life which we have no control over, but as for the things that Allah has given the free will to choose , he left for us the complete will to decide where to forward ourselves , but this choice will have a consequence & we are responsible for that choice.
it is that easy , Allah has given Adam & hence all his sons & daughters brain to distinguish between right & wrong, then asked him if he would have the free will to choose to believe in god or not, so Adam chose to have this free will , that`s why Allah has described him in this verse :
33-72 "Surely We offered the free will to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to bear it and feared from it, and man has taken it; surely he is unjust, ignorant; "
why he is ignorant? because he didn`t know how hard it is to bear it & to take it , it`s a huge responsibility, for he would be faced with so many things that may distract him from the mission that Allah has set for him , consequently he would be judged according to his or her choice by the creator only .
as for god & the accusation of him having a son, i don`t know how you are comparing the great ,perfect, all knowing, Mighty creator of this great universe which some can`t be sensed or seen by humans even when using modern technology , with the weak human to be his son, i mean can you compare yourself with an ant ? would you have a son from an ant? it doesn`t match!
those two creatures, humans & ants can see each other , yet they won`t have a common son? how could you think that god who can`t be seen or sensed have a humane son!!
Christians can only rely on the Gospels and the New Testament through faith, just as Muslims rely on the Koran. However, there is no historical fact to them, so a leap of faith is necessary. Jesus was part of the Holy Trinity which comprises one being: God. God can come to human form or do anything he wants, for he is Lord. He sent his spirit with Jesus to be an example for humanity. We as Christians believe Jesus is 100% human and 100% divine (a matter, among others, which I plan to introduce for further debate later in this forum).
why god would need to send himself or his son to interact with humans? i mean if that`s true, why was it in certain period of time, don`t we have the right to see him in order to believe in him , if that`s the only way to believe in him, Allah says in the holy Quran :
40-57 "Certainly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of the humans, but most people do not know "
so you see , it`s not only us on this universe, yes he has given us a privilage by :
17-70 "And surely We have honored the children of Adam, and We carry them in the land and the sea, and We have given them of the good things, and We have made them to excel by an appropriate excellence over most of those whom We have created. "
but that doesn`t mean that he would form himself on the look of humans, for he said :
42-11 "The Originator of the heavens and the earth; He made mates for you from among yourselves, and mates of the cattle too, multiplying you thereby; nothing like a likeness of Him; and He is the Hearing, the Seeing. "
i mean why would he need to look like humans or send his son to be killed in order to clear their sins, isn`t he`s the one who`s able to do everything, & when he tells anything to be then it is :
2-117 "Wonderful Originator of the heavens and the earth, and when He decrees an affair, He only says to it, Be, so there it is. "
so if he wants to clear the sins of humans he`s able to do it without any play or show, & there`s no point at all in this, there`s no effort that humans did in order to deserve this forgiveness unless there`s something they should do to be forgiven , & that thing is to ask forgiveness from their creator, also no one carries the burden of another, if Adam sinned then he`s responsible for his own sin, not every single human who is born should carry that sin, Allah says :
2-37 "Then Adam received (some) words from his Lord, so He turned to him mercifully; surely He is Oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful. "
so Allah has already forgiven Adam, it`s over.
there must be a mission for humans on this earth, there`s nothing random in the sight of the creator, & the greatest prove, is that you see everything on this universe organized & in harmony with each other , everything single thing follows a law in order to function properly, like our own bodies, their digest organs, their blood circulation etc.
so we as well, must have a law to follow in order to function properly & be positive towards our own selves , & everyone around us, even towards non-human creatures & things.
