All our members (muslims and non-muslims) are welcome to enroll in this online course to study the Arabic language in order to read the Book of Allah in the language it was revealed..
The course would be tutored by qualified members of the Imanway team, and inshaAllah it will be very basic for beginners.
There will also be higher leverls for thow who want to go for more advanced levels in the recitation. (i.e. with tajweed)..
The Classes will be held one-to-one or in groups based on the times the tutors will be available in online on MSN Messenger or Yahoo Messenger..
All members who dont already have a Quran with transliteration text could request one from our Islamic Book around the World Project section and a Quran will be sent to him/her inshaAllah.. plus a textbook called 'Help yourself in reading the Quran'
InshaAllah we see the max. number of members enrolling & making this project a success...& what is better than the Quran for all of us to gather upon...
Uqbah ibn Aamir (Radhiyallaho anho) has said: "Rasulullah (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) came to us while we were sitting on the Suffah and asked if anyone of us would like to go to the market of Boot-haan or Aqeeq and fetch from there two she-camels of the finest breed without commiting any sin or severing a tie of kinship. We replied that every one of us would love to do so. Rasulullah (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) then said that going to the musjid and reciting or teaching two ayaat of the Qur'an is more precious than two she-camels, three ayaat are more precious than three she-camels, and that similarly reciting or teaching of four ayaat is better than four she-camels, and an equal number for a number of camels."
May we all be from those mentioned in the hadith of our beloved prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him:
"The best amongst you is he who learns the Qur'an and teaches it."
and just incase someone is reading this and feeling shy whether they should or should not participate because they dont have knowledge in this area, let me bring to you the news of the great reward that awaits you if you do learn the quran inspite of all difficulties..The prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him said:
"One who is well versed in the Qur'an will be in the company of those angels who are scribes, noble and righteous; and one who falters in reading the Qur'an, and has to exert hard for learning, gets double the reward."
So what should hold us back from doing after this great promise from Allah..AL HAMDULILAH RAB EL ALAMIN How Gracious and Merciful he is with us..!
Registration is taken in this thread...
Bismillah..

Assalamou alaikum a rahmatullahi wa barakatu,
I'm very interested in following the arabic classes. Will it be learning the arabic language or will it be tajweed? I would be more interested in tajweed classes insha'Allah, although don't count me out of the arabic classes. I don't have MSN Messenger or Yahoo Messenger but I have paltalk. So do I need to get MSN or Yahoo Messenger? I suppose you ca just download them by going on their sites, is that correct?

Furthermore, please comment on effectiveness of such learning for someone who has little chance on weekly basis to be online. Emails, no problem, it's daily...but online that too on messenger...is on weekly basis unfortunately.

I'm very interested in following the arabic classes. Will it be learning the arabic language or will it be tajweeda
As Salamu Alaykum sister...There will be two levels inshaAllah..
The basic level & The advanced level
The basic level study would be based on two parts
1) Learn arabic letters and there pronounciation and the vowels and their shapes etc
2)Read the transliteration of the Quran..with the correct pronounciation . We will focus on the short surahs so that they can be read in the daily prayers inshaAllah.
The advanced level is for those who already know how to read Arabic, and would like to enhance their level in Tajweed.

Yes, A most beautiful project for new Muslims to read and learn the Glorious Qur’an by its own tongue for no matter how good is the translation endeavors of the Glorious Qur’an still they are only humans translating the Words of God, for truly the majesty of words in Arabic and the richness and depth of meanings are miraculous, and I hope that all new Muslims learn Arabic and experience themselves the majesty and beauty of Arabic language, the language of the Noble Qur’an.
Every effort each of them will exert to learn the language of his Noble Qur’an will be generously rewarded by Allah.
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:
“Whoever treads a path in search of knowledge, Allah will smooth for him a path leading to Paradise.”
It is Paradise in the Hereafter and the Best Companion in the life of this world
I wish for my new Muslim brothers and sisters to master the language of the Noble Qur’an. I was really amazed when I heard on Tv the accuracy and mastery of Indonesian, Russian, Americans, Indian, Chinese, ….Muslims to the Noble Qur’an. Many have memorized it all and came participating in Qur’an Memorizers contests and recited the Qur’an with most beautiful voices. I invite the non-Muslims also to learn it and also to hear it even without understating it for many heard the Qur’anic recitations and confessed that they experienced a relief and tranquility they have not known before when listening to Qur'an. You may experience it yourself at:
http://www.alafasy.com/5atma_1424_7f9.htm
Hope I have not bored you :)as for myself please Skyaboveyou count me in and may Allah reward you all teachers, students and sponsors Jannah for this beautiful project

Jazakum Allah Khayr for joining the class..:)
Kindly, i need to know to know from u the answer to the following question so that we can organize our study groups...
1) What do you aim at achieving from this course:
a) Learning the Arabic letters and there pronunciation and the vowels and their shapes and be able to read Arabic words etc.
b) Reading the transliteration of short Surahs in the Quran with the correct pronunciation, and learning them to use in prayer. (this is greatly recommended if you are a new muslim, or dont memorize enough surahs to recite in salaah)
c) You already know how to read the Quran in Arabic and would like to advance your level in tajweed.
You can just write a , b or c in your reply
Thank You..

"Almighty Allah says; 'If anybody finds no time for My remembrance and for begging favours of Me, because of his remaining busy with the Holy Qur'an, I shall give him more than what I give to all those who beg favours of Me. The superiority of the Word of Allah over all other words is like the superiority of Allah over the entire creation.' " (Narrated by Tirmidhi, Daarmi, and Baihaqi)

Bismillah..

assalau Allaikum, brother skyaboveyou !!
I have become an owner of the holy Quran today because you made certain it was sent down to me. Some of my friends are asking for a copy because I have brought them to the passion for the knowledge of Islam.
Brother, I can not instruct my friends if I do not receive a perfect understanding of the Arabic language.
Insha Allahu I will really love to become part of this program.
Thank you brother SkyAboveYou....Assalamun allaikum wa rahmatulah wa bahrakatuhu...!!!:x017:
